Here are the mods required to use a non-turbo block (7M-GE)

The 7M-GTE block and 7M-GE block

in place of the Turbo block (7M-GTE) used on  Turbo Supras or when you want to convert your non-turbo Supra into a Turbo Supra…or add some snap to your Cressida.

View of the oil feed and return

You will need to use a set of turbo pistons, add 2 knock sensors (Knock Sensor picture), make a oil feed and a oil  return line. The oil feed will go from a blocked oil source (Lower rightt picture)  to the turbo and the oil return will go from turbo to a return port in top of oil pan (lower left picture) and add the factory oil filter housing with oil cooling lines. By using the 7M-GE block you will lose the oil

squirters located at the bottom of each of the cylinders, but they are not really necessary. Our car easily passed the California smog emissions test. I was afraid it might not pass because of the porting of the intake ports and intake manifold, exhaust ports and exhaust manifold. To my relief it passed with flying colors.
