About Us

We are a family of Gear-Heads.  We come from various views that include Drag Racing, Road Racing and Show Cars.  We enjoy building our cars for what each of us wanted from them.  Over the years that has included building the Mustang from bumper to pumper multiple times.  We did all of the body work, interior, chassis and mechanical.  Every aspect was planned based on the intended use.   Since Keith was interested in RX-7’s, that necessitated the expansion of our thinking from piston engines to rotary engines.  We decided to create Yamabe Racing to help the newbie’s who want to be do-it-yourselfers (DIY), after all, we all know how expensive cars can be.  If our site helps anyone to build their own cars, then our mission has been accomplished.
